The Segments [n]: Each Is a Set, and 1 Lies in [n] for n ∈ ℕ

For every natural number with zero n, the segment [n] is a set contained in the natural numbers with zero, and for every natural number n it contains 1.

Statement

This helper adopts the setting of The Natural Numbers and the Natural Numbers with Zero: Arithmetic, Order, Induction and Recursion, with N\mathbb{N}, N0\mathbb{N}_{0} and 11 as in The Natural Numbers and the Natural Numbers with Zero: Arithmetic, Order, Induction and Recursion §sets, and [n][n] as in Intervals of Natural Numbers §segment.

For every n∈N0n\in\mathbb{N}_{0}, [n][n] is a set, and [n]⊆N0[n]\subseteq\mathbb{N}_{0}.

For every n∈Nn\in\mathbb{N}, 1∈[n]1\in[n].
