Countable Choice Follows from Dependent Choice

From dependent choice: for every family of subsets of a set b indexed by N, each with at least one element, there is a sequence in b whose m-th term lies in the m-th subset.

Statement

In the setting of Class Theory NBG: the Axioms, Standing Conventions and Basic Notation, assume the axiom of dependent choice, and let N\mathbb{N} be as in The Set of Natural Numbers and the Number One §naturals.

Let bb be a set and let (Am)m∈N(A_{m})_{m\in\mathbb{N}} be a family indexed by N\mathbb{N} such that, for every m∈Nm\in\mathbb{N}, Am⊆bA_{m}\subseteq b and AmA_{m} has at least one element. Then there is a map x:N→bx:\mathbb{N}\to b, written (xm)m∈N(x_{m})_{m\in\mathbb{N}}, such that xm∈Amx_{m}\in A_{m} for every m∈Nm\in\mathbb{N}.
