Ordered Pairs in a Map between Classes: Membership as a Value, and the Components Lie in the Domain and the Codomain

For a map F:A→B between arbitrary classes, a pair (a,b) lies in F exactly when F(a)=b, and the components of any pair in F lie in A and B respectively.

Statement

In the setting of Class Theory NBG: the Axioms, Standing Conventions and Basic Notation, let AA, BB and FF be classes, with FF a map F:A→BF:A\to B. Values F(a)F(a) are as in Functions, Values of a Function, and Functions from One Class to Another (ii), and (a,b)(a,b) is the ordered pair.

For every a∈Aa\in A and every set bb,

(a,b)∈F  ⟺  F(a)=b.(a,b)\in F\iff F(a)=b.

For all sets aa and bb, if (a,b)∈F(a,b)\in F, then a∈Aa\in A and b∈Bb\in B.
