The Number n Lies in the Segment [n], and Membership in the Addition Class on ω

Every natural number n lies in the segment [n], and a set ((a, b), c) belongs to the addition on omega exactly when a and b lie in omega and c = a + b.

Statement

This helper adopts The Natural Numbers and the Natural Numbers with Zero: Arithmetic, Order, Induction and Recursion, with [n][n] as in Intervals of Natural Numbers (ii). Let ω=N0\omega=\mathbb{N}_{0} and let ++ be the class of Addition on Omega (i).

For every n∈Nn\in\mathbb{N}, n∈[n]n\in[n].

For all sets aa, bb and cc, ((a,b),c)∈+((a,b),c)\in{+} if and only if a,b∈ωa,b\in\omega and c=a+bc=a+b.
